Arc of Livingston-Wyoming is a private, not-for-profit organization providing services to developmentally disabled individuals
and their families in the Western New York counties of Livingston
and Wyoming.
Through its residential, vocational rehabilitation, children's services, transportation, and community services programs, the agency helps to enhance the lives of more than
800 community members who rely on services each year.
The Arc of Livingston-Wyoming also benefits the local economy as one of the area’s largest employers, with more than 560 employees. The agency's annual payroll is $12.5 million, and its operating budget of
$25 million has more than doubled over the past 10 years, with steady growth each year.
History
The Arc of Livingston-Wyoming is a private, not-for-profit corporation
that was founded in 1961 by a group
of concerned parents. The Arc is dedicated
to serving the needs of people with
disabilities and their families in
Livingston and Wyoming counties in
New York State.
