ARC OF LIVINGSTON-WYOMING APPOINTS FOUR DIRECTORS TO EXPAND AGENCY CAPABILITIES
The Arc of Livingston-Wyoming, the two-county region’s largest not-for-profit organization providing services to developmentally disabled individuals, is pleased to announce three promotions and one new hire designed to strengthen the agency's programs and services. Together, the four senior managers bring more than 60 years of financial, human services, and marketing experience to the growing community-based agency.
Martin Miskell, Kellie Kennedy, Deborah Tuckerman, and
Jeff Thomas join Executive Director Chris Peterson, Service Coordination Director Mary Conradt, Corporate Compliance Director Dan Fitzpatrick, KidStart Director Margaret Harrington, Human Resources Director Brent Lefler, and Transportation/IT Director John Prospero on Livingston Wyoming Arc’s senior leadership team.

Martin Miskell, of Geneseo, has been promoted to the position of Associate Executive Director/CFO. An
Arc of Livingston-Wyoming employee since 2002, Miskell previously held the agency's senior financial position as Director of Finance. During that time, the agency's annual budget grew from $12 million to just over $20 million as
The Arc of Livingston-Wyoming became one of the area's largest employers. Miskell has more than 20 years of financial experience, with a diverse background in accounting and banking. Prior to
The Arc of Livingston-Wyoming, he was Director of Finance for Lew-Mark Baking Company, Inc. (Archway Cookies) of Perry, NY. Miskell is and has been involved with several community organizations including United Way of Wyoming County, Teresa House, Boy Scout Troop 70 (treasurer), Genesee Valley Conservancy (treasurer), and Association for the Preservation of Geneseo. He has a BA in Economics from SUNY Geneseo and an MBA from RIT.
Kellie Kennedy, of Geneseo, was promoted from Assistant Director of Day Services to Director of Day Services. Kennedy will oversee operation of
The Arc of Livingston-Wyoming’s Hilltop Industries division in four facilities and in the community, providing day habilitation, prevocational, supported employment, family support, clinical, and intake services. Since joining
The Arc of Livingston-Wyoming in 1991, Kennedy has held various leadership positions within the agency, including Coordinator of Rehabilitation, Program Coordinator, and Residence Manager. In her role as Assistant Director of Day Services, Kennedy managed vocational rehabilitation and day program services for more than 330 adults with disabilities in the programs that she now oversees as Director. Kennedy has a BS in Management Science from SUNY Geneseo and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from SUNY Brockport.
Deborah Tuckerman, of Livonia, has been promoted from Service Coordination Manager to Director of Residential Services. In her new role, Tuckerman will oversee operation of all
Arc of Livingston-Wyoming residential homes, ensuring that services offered are of the highest quality and meet the needs and requirements of funders and government regulators. An
Arc of Livingston-Wyoming employee since 1994, Tuckerman has held a number of key human services positions at the agency. In her role as Service Coordination Manager, Tuckerman supervised daily operations of the Service Coordination department, including intake for new consumers, scheduling, caseload assignments, billing, development of policies and procedures, and internal audits to ensure compliance. She has a BA in Sociology from SUNY Geneseo.
Jeff Thomas, of Penfield, has been named Director of Public Relations and Development. In this role, Thomas will work with the media, Board of Directors, volunteers, and staff colleagues to raise the organization's profile and promote
The Arc of Livingston-Wyoming's public education, advocacy, and outreach efforts. A graduate of SUNY Geneseo, Thomas has extensive experience in marketing and communications, including marketing management positions with TargetVision, Inc. of Victor and Symon Communications of Dallas, TX. Most recently, he was marketing specialist for Quality Vision International of Rochester, the world's largest vision metrology company.
