The Institute on Community Integration - A University-affiliated program at the University of Minnesota dedicated to improving community services for people with developmental disabilities and their families.
Virginia Commonwealth University Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Supported Employment - State-of-the-art information on employment of people with disabilities.
Americans with Disabilities Act Information
ADD / ADHD Learning Center at Healthline - Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) commonly affects children but can also affect adults. Around 4.5 million Americans have been diagnosed with ADHD, commonly called attention deficit disorder (ADD).
Refinance & Mortgage Guide for People with Disabilities - This guide provides relevant resources needed to navigate the red tape and rigid processes regularly associated with real estate purchases.

The Family Village - A global community of disability related resources.
Toys for Special Children - Enabling Devices develops and manufactures assistive and adaptive technologies for the physically challenged.
Council for Exceptional Children
National Child Care Information Center - A federally-funded project to complement, enhance and promote child care linkages and to serve as a mechanism for supporting quality, comprehensive services for children and families. NCCIC addresses the child care needs of children with disabilities.
American Academy of Pediatrics - An organization of 50,000 pediatricians dedicated to the health, safety and well-being of infants, children, adolescents and young adults.

Government Agencies

OMRDD- New York State Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities.
Commission on Quality of Care- Serves people with mental disabilities and their families in New York State by providing independent oversight of the quality and cost effectiveness of services provided by all mental hygiene programs.
U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development
Environmental Protection Agency - Information on environmental toxins that may cause mental retardation and other health problems.
SSA Home Page - Information and publications on entitlement programs for people with disabilities.
United States Department of Justice Home Page - ADA information.
U.S. Department of Education - Information on research in special education.
