Every great journey begins with a single
step. On Saturday, October 25, 2008,
runners and walkers of all ages and
abilities took that first step in a
journey to enrich the lives of community
members with disabilities at the
Ramon Rocha 5K Run/Walk in the
Village of Geneseo, NY.

Our race is named in memory of Dr. Ramon
M. Rocha, a beloved educator, mentor,
volunteer, and family man who
passionately believed in the
possibilities of life — and has been an
endless source of inspiration for people
of all ages and abilities. It is with
honor that we walk — and run — in his
footsteps. All proceeds benefit
the Livingston-Wyoming Arc
Foundation, a
not-for-profit corporation that distributes funds
to enhance the
quality of life for individuals with
disabilities and their families.
