Ramon Rocha 5K Run/Walk
> The Geneseo Trio
"Great Races, Great Causes"
This
5K series features three events, each with its own designated
beneficiary(ies) and each with its own unique course featuring the
village of Geneseo. This year marks the first annual Geneseo Trio!
Walkers and runners are welcome at each of these events. Participants who
complete all three will be eligible for the Geneseo Trio Awards (see
below). Registration
To
participate in the Geneseo Trio, simply register and participate in
each of the following 5Ks. We will keep track of who participates in
all three and will give out Geneseo Trio awards at the final event.
Please refer to each organization for details on registration costs,
etc. for their individual event. General information for each event is
below.
Awards
Fastest Male (lowest combined time from all three events): Sundance Books Gift Certificate
Fastest Female (lowest combined time from all three events): Sundance Books Gift Certificate
Participant Awards: Various prizes to be given to random Trio participants; not based on time!
Event 1:

The Oak Tree Half Marathon and 5k
September 5th
Benefiting: The
Genesee Valley Conservancy and the Geneseo Central School Cross Country team
Annual Date: Sunday of Labor Day weekend
Start: 5K starts at 9:15am

Event 2:

Friday Knight 5k Race/Walk
September 24th
Benefiting: SUNY Geneseo Cross Country and SUNY Geneseo Track & Field
Annual Date: Friday of Homecoming weekend
Start:5:30pm
Location: Geneseo Village Park

Ramon Rocha 5K Run/Walk
October 3rd
Benefiting: The
Livingston-Wyoming Arc
