The Arc of
Livingston-Wyoming is committed to attracting
qualified volunteers from the community to
assist staff and individuals in all program
areas.
The agency recognizes that volunteers are an
integral source of support to people receiving
services. In addition, volunteer and internship
liaisons with area colleges strengthen ties and
increase our profile in the community.
The Public Relations Director provides primary
oversight for the Volunteer Program working in
conjunction with the Training Department and the
Management Team.
Due to the variety and range of opportunities available for individuals interested in volunteering for the agency, the following participation and expectation levels have been established:
- Volunteer 1 – Regularly-Scheduled Volunteer / Professional Intern
- Volunteer 2 – Temporary Volunteer (School/Community Service, Workforce Development,
Short-Term Projects, Etc.)
- Volunteer 3 – One Event/ Non-Consumer Based Activity Volunteer
(Fundraiser, Organized Activity, Clerical Support, Committee Involvement, Board
Activities, Etc.)
Volunteers are
required to meet certain eligibility
requirements, and to provide evidence of
academic credentials, certification or licensing
if required by individual assignments. To
